Get ready for outdoor dining!

Hello!

When you are planning your garden, summer vacation and beach reads-remember to organize your summer supplies for outdoor dining.

I usually recommend to organize like items together, such as glasses with glasses, and so on, but here the LIKE category is unbreakable plates, cups, and utensils.

Gather your paper or plastic plates, cups and utensils together and store in a drawer or shelf. Put the utensils in a divided caddy that you can easily pull out when hosting your next BBQ.

Putting your unbreakable items together makes it simple for your family to grab the correct plates and cups when packing for a picnic, beach day or setting the table on your patio.

Designating a "summer drawer" (for those who live where warm weather is only a few months long) takes away some of the worry that your favorite glassware won't end up outside on your brick patio. For others who dine outside year round, the drawer will be a permanent area in your kitchen or pantry.

Creating a dedicated station for your summer dining supplies helps you know when you need to purchase supplies and helps your family became more self-sufficient when setting the table. No more excuses, they can't find the plastic cups.

Even as you transition away from disposable supplies (say goodbye to red solo cups), keeping your unbreakable dining supplies together should continue.

Enjoy your time preparing for warmer summer days wherever you live.

Happy Saturday, Happy Organizing!

Best Regards,

Laura
