Make a visual statement by organizing your favorite collection

Group and color code your mug collection

Sometimes more is better! Create a wow factor!

  • Group items together by material, function or manufacturer. Pull out the unrelated items. Applies to just about anything-books, baseball cards, travel mementos, and more. Group books by an author, or a series. Display your antique silver pieces together.

  • Make a collection from everyday items that you use daily or heirlooms that you inherited.

  • Display and use (if that is possible) items in your collection. If you do not want others to touch your stuff for fear of damage then display in a glass shadow box, cabinet or album. Showcase your collections for you and others to enjoy!

  • If you like it, keep it visible. If the items no longer spark joy, then sell, donate or giveaway to a loved one.

  • Don’t store your collection in a box in your attic.  Again, if the items no longer spark joy, then it is time to sell, donate or giveaway.

  •  Look around your home and see where you can make a collection. Be creative!

  • Take some time this weekend and create a new collection from items in your home.

Enjoy creating and enjoy organizing!

Happy Saturday,

Laura
